What I'm Packing In My Hospital Bag

I did a lot of research into what to pack in my hospital bag… like, A LOT. I watched a ton of other blogger’s hospital bag stories, read a bunch of blogs, and saved every hospital bag checklist I came across. I really wanted to be prepared, comfortable, but I wanted to avoid overpacking. In addition to my Nurses’ Baskets, here’s everything that’s coming with me for the main event!

for mama:

• slippers

• 2 nursing bras

• delivery gown

• 3 pairs of socks, 1 pair of grippy socks

• 3 pairs of undies

• 1 nightgown (with buttons)

• 1 pair of pajamas (with buttons)

• robe

• going home outfit (we bought this set of family tees and I’m planning on wearing these joggers)

• Belly Bandit

• mimi (my security blanket- I’ve had it since I was born…don’t judge lol)

• 1 pair of slip on sandals for walking around the hospital + in the shower

  • we’re taking elote chips, veggie chips, PB&J dippers, cheese crackers, Joe Joes, and dark chocolate peanut butter cups. no health food here! hahaha.

for baby:

• my brest friend

• Hatch white noise machine

• 4 onesies (2 in newborn, 2 in 0-3 months)

• 2 sets of jammies (1 in newborn, 1 in 0-3 months)

• first photo outfit

• 3 swaddle blankets

• cozy blanket

• letterboard + letters (for photos)
